How we pray
A simple guide to prayer
Prayer is at the heart of our worship — a direct conversation with our heavenly Father. He is everpresent, and you can pray to Him from anywhere.
A starting point
Quieten your heart
Kneel if you can, close your eyes, and quiet your heart before God.
Open in His name
Begin by saying, "In the name of the Lord Jesus I pray."
Praise Him
Praise the Lord by saying, "Hallelujah!", acknowledging who He is.
Speak with God
Speak from the heart. Confess, give thanks, intercede, and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit.
Close in faith
End the prayer by saying, "Amen", trusting that He hears you.
