How even a short study exchange in Seattle can edify ourselves - and others.

OVERSEAS BRETHREN
In 2022, I had the opportunity to go on a University exchange in Redmond, Washington, for three months. During this exchange, I experienced many different things. One of the things I remember the most was the incredible support I received from the church in Seattle. As the public transport system in USA is not as good as Singapore, it made it challenging to go to church if I were to go by myself.
However, one of the families in Seattle would pick me and one of my friends who decided to follow me every Saturday . After each service, they would drive us back to our housing. Sometimes, they would also bring us out for dinner after service.
THE WARMTH I FELT
My friend even commented to me about how warm she felt from the love of the Seattle church. Without the help of the church members, I would have had a more difficult time going to church every Saturday. I was even able to attend their ESSC and bear testimony for one of the sessions. Thank God, because of the hospitality of the church members, my friend could follow me to church.
