Have you ever wished your homework or tasks could finish themselves in seconds? Today, tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) can do amazing things in no time at all. You can ask AI one question and get many answers almost instantly. Even though these tools are helpful, we need to be careful not to forget what's the most helpful—putting God first.
The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 45:5 that God is the One who helps and equips us. Sometimes, we may be tempted to rush to a tool for answers before doing something more reliable and effective like praying. God wants us to seek Him first. He cares about everything we do; from our school work, to our ideas, and our daily plans. When we go to Him, we show Him that we trust Him more than anything else.
Waiting on God's timing is hard. AI has made quick replies an expectation. To God, waiting is His quick reply because our faith grows in the waiting. Waiting teaches us to obey God and trust His timing. Sometimes, the best we can do is pause, pray, and be patient.
What about when we run out of ideas? How do we choose between asking a tool and asking God? In Exodus 35:35, we learn that God gave people skills and creativity to do beautiful work. That same God allows us to think of new and wonderful ideas too. Each of us is special, and God can work through us in ways unique to us.
When life feels confusing, it’s easy to look for fast solutions. But, God promises in Isaiah 43:19 that He will make a way for us when there seems to be none. He is our true Guide. We can make use of tools, but they should never replace God in our hearts and minds. God is our ultimate Helper. Let’s choose Him first and above all in everything we do.
